Therapy Modalities We Offer

We are a group of clinicians who are trained in a variety of experiential modalities. Experiential therapy is a dynamic approach to healing that includes but also goes beyond traditional talk therapy. By engaging in activities like mindful awareness, art, role-play, movement, or interaction with the environment and others, clients can explore deep emotions and gain new perspectives. This method helps individuals access feelings that may be difficult to express with words alone, promoting greater self-awareness and emotional release.

Gestalt Therapy - Gestalt therapy is a holistic, experiential approach that emphasizes present-moment awareness and personal responsibility. Through dialogue, creative techniques, and exploration of thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, clients gain insight into how they relate to themselves and others. The goal is to foster self-awareness, integration, and meaningful change by bringing attention to the “here and now.”

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) - EMDR is a therapy that helps you process and heal from past traumatic or distressing experiences. During sessions, your therapist will guide you through gentle eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while you focus on difficult memories. EMDR can help you feel less overwhelmed by painful memories, ease anxiety or flashbacks, and create space for healthier thoughts and feelings — so you can move forward with greater peace and control.

Brainspotting - Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps clients access and process deep emotional pain and trauma. By guiding the eyes to specific points in the visual field, Brainspotting taps into the brain’s natural ability to heal and release stored trauma. It allows for deep, focused work that can bring insight, relief, and emotional clarity often beyond what words alone can reach.

Schema Therapy - Schema Therapy helps you understand and change deep patterns that keep you stuck. It blends cognitive therapy, which focuses on your thoughts and beliefs, with experiential therapy, which helps you connect with your emotions and experiences. Together, these approaches help you uncover where these patterns come from and create healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others, so you can feel more in control and more like yourself.

Expressive Arts Therapy - This approach uses a variety of creative tools and props like art, sand trays, cards, pictures, movement, music, and storytelling to help clients explore emotions, memories, and experiences in nonverbal, symbolic ways. It’s especially helpful when words alone aren’t enough to express what someone is feeling.

Nature-Informed Therapy - Nature-informed therapy integrates the healing power of the natural world into the therapeutic process. By connecting with nature clients can reduce stress, restore balance, and deepen self-awareness. This approach supports mental health by recognizing our innate connection to the environment as a vital part of emotional and psychological well-being.

Psychodrama - Psychodrama uses guided roleplaying and dramatic enactment to explore and resolve emotional conflicts. Clients act out scenes from their lives (past, present, or imagined) to gain insight, release blocked emotions, and develop new perspectives. This active approach fosters healing, creativity, and a deeper understanding of oneself and others.
